I expect this blog to be very much a work-in-process. At the moment, I'm planning on primarily talking about early Irish poetics. (Including how it's both similar and different from other early Northern European poetry.) I may also spend some time on the Irish bardic culture, attempting to learn Old Irish, and other side projects. I realize this is a very narrow focus in a lot of ways. I don't expect to have many readers.
Since this is a process, I may contradict myself at some point. Certainly, I've made mistakes in some of my earlier poetry that I wouldn't make now. I'll try to make note of that as I go along. If something is confusing, just drop a comment. I'll try to clarify in later posts.
